Ke Xu – 1st Prize with Special Mention, Piano


Ke Xu is a dedicated pianist and educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. She holds a Master of Music from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory, where she studied under renowned teachers Tian Ying, Arnaldo Cohen and Robert Shannon.
As a performer, Ke Xu has given recitals at venues such as Oberlin’s Warner Hall and participated in the ChamberFest program. Internationally, she performed across multiple cities in China and earned 3rd Prize in the Teenager 2 Group at the French Nice International Piano Competition. In addition to her performance career, Ke is committed to music education. She has taught students ranging from 5 to 13 years old and led a piano pedagogy practicum at Indiana University, focusing on individualized student development. With a passion for both performance and teaching, Ke strives to inspire future generations of musicians while continuing to grow as an artist.
