Taylor Louise Fong – FIRST PRIZE with Special Mention, Musical Theatre
and FIRST PRIZE, Pop Song

Taylor Louise is a multitalented young performer from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, whose passion for singing and musical theatre has taken her across international stages. At just 11 years old, Taylor is gaining recognition for her expressive voice, heartfelt performances, and maturity beyond her years.
Taylor’s singing journey began with classical vocal training under the guidance of Mdm Sabrina Tnay, a Golden Kenyalang Award-winning choral conductor. She later broadened her skills into musical theatre, where she developed her stage presence and storytelling abilities through intensive training with Sing’theatre Singapore. Driven by her passion for the arts and a strong commitment to growth, Taylor has achieved remarkable milestones along the way.
In 2024, she was named Division Champion and received Gold First at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Los Angeles. She then became a two-time Champion at the Asia Students Arts Festival — first in the Singapore preliminary round and later at the International Finals in Hong Kong in January 2025, standing out in the Pop category among young performers from 17 countries.
In March 2025, Taylor proudly represented Malaysia at the Sanremo Junior World Finals in Italy, where she received a Special Mention in the Pop category and ranked among the Top 5 globally in her age group. That same year marked a series of outstanding international successes: she won First Prize in both Musical Theatre and Pop Song at the Song International Singing Competition (UK), earned the Absolute First Prize at the Golden Prestige International Music Competition, and secured the Platinum Award for Pop Song at the Global Young Musician Competition. Her talent also shone at the Saint-Saëns International Music Competition, where she was awarded Platinum, Gold, and a Special Award for Superior Interpretation in Musical Theatre and Pop. Additionally, Taylor was named Champion at the Global Arts, Sports and Culture Association’s 67th International Singing Competition and clinched the Top Gold Prize (Pop Vocal) at the 6th North American Virtuoso International Music Competition.
In August 2025, Taylor proudly represent Malaysia at the ASAF Winner Showcase held at the Britten Theatre, Royal College of Music, London, in both Pop and Musical Theatre categories. In addition, Taylor has made history as the youngest cast member in Sarawak’s first English original musical theatre production under Tanoti. The production will be staged at the Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC) in Selangor, West Malaysia. Whether singing solo or performing in an ensemble, Taylor brings warmth, depth, and joy to every performance — and continues to grow as a bright young voice for Sarawak and Malaysia on the global stage.
