Kíra Raposa – 1st Prize with Special Mention, Voice
Kíra Raposa – artistic biography:
My name is Kíra Raposa, I am 24 years old, I live in Pécs and I also I graduated here at the University of Pécs and recieved a degree of Bachelor Arts In Classical Singing and qualified as a Classical Music Singer. In the Unversity i learned from István Kovácsházi, Dénes Gulyás and Tünde Szaboki who are all famous hungarian opera singers. During my university years, I recieved prizes in many Hungarian competitions. After university, I made my debut as Gretel in Humperdinck’s opera Hansel and Gretel at the National Theater in Pécs. After my theater performances, I got the opportunity to perform in Puccini’s opera La Rondine, where I sang the role of Yvette/Georgette under the direction of Jose Cura in Pécs. This fall, I was invited back to sing the role of Gretel in the theater. Also from the request of the theater I was able to give many concerts in hungarian cities.
